I was born in Boise Idaho and my family and I moved to AZ when I was 12. My family all moved back a few years later and left me here. I was going to college and getting married at that time.Throughout my high school and college years, I was a cross country and track athlete and still enjoy running and hiking. As an Eagle Scout, I was involved in service work and I continue to do work to serve my community.Sales and marketing, in one way or another, has been my career and my passion for most of my adult life. I spent about 10 years in the first aid and safety industry and owned my own company for 3 years. The change in the economy in 2008 caused me to find another way to provide for my family.In 2011 I was introduced to the Medicare Insurance industry. There is an amazing joy and satisfaction when helping people to have better healthcare options to fill the various needs they had. To most, Medicare can be confusing and boring. To me, it is an extension of the service work I have done all my life.Naturally, I began to seek solutions for those under 65 needing better health care coverage. Through my research and connections, I was able to offer a program that filled so many gaps left in the health insurance industry.Learning is a passion bordering on an obsession! I consider myself to be a lifelong learner. Reading, listening to uplifting audios, and subscribing to both business and personal development podcasts keep me on the cutting edge. I enjoy being outdoors and love traveling with my wife, Laurie, and our children and grandchildren.
